Ruberta Paul

Ruberta E. Paul, 95, of Fayette, died Sunday, September 16,

2018, at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Sumner, Iowa.

 

Ruberta Ellen, daughter of Arthur and Hazel (Fritz)

Helmer was born Febuary 11, 1923. She graduated from

Fayette High School in 1940. She worked as a Secretary at the

Farm Bureau and ASCS office. On Feb. 27th, 1945 she was

united in marriage to Arnold Paul and to this union one son

was born. They lived and farmed near Fayette their whole life

and then moved to town in 1985. She enjoyed playing cards

and spending time with her family.

 

Survived by her son, Ray (Eunice) Paul, Independence, IA;

3 Granddaughters: Angie (Steve) Harkin, Marion, IA; Stacy

(Blake) Robinson, Cedar Falls, IA; Heidi (Cory) Evans,

Independence, IA; and 7 Great Grandchildren: Brennon

Harkin, Abbie Harkin and Megan Harkin; Drew Evans and

Nathan Evans; Aubrey Robinson and Luke Robinson.

 

Preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Arnold.

 

Funeral Services will be at Becker Milnes Funeral Home

in Fayette at 10:30 AM, Thursday, September 20th, 2018.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 19th from 4:00-7:00

PM.

I use to trim her lawn. I enjoyed talking to her. Loved taking her to the craft show at spillville.
I enjoyed seeing her house at Christmas. She would have it decorated .
